Recruitment privacy notice

Effective date: 21 October 2026.

Aven Travels, an initiative of Aven Ventures, reviews personal information that applicants choose to submit when expressing interest in professional positions. This notice concerns recruitment only. Customer travel enquiries have a separate privacy notice.

What we collect

Applicants may provide their name, email, telephone number, location, qualifications, employment background, experience, availability, responses to role-specific questions, CV, cover letter and other optional professional information. We do not request passport numbers, banking credentials, health information or identity documents in these application forms.

Why we use the information

We use the information to assess qualifications, compare candidates fairly, contact applicants about their applications, arrange interviews and make recruitment decisions. We do not use applications for unrelated marketing or sell applicant information.

Where information is processed

Application information and attachments are handled using Wix Forms and available to authorised recruitment staff through the website account. International hosting or cross-border processing may occur subject to applicable legal safeguards.

Retention and requests

We intend to keep unsuccessful applications only for the period reasonably necessary to conclude the selection process, generally no more than six months afterward unless the person agrees to further contact or applicable law requires otherwise. Relevant information for selected candidates may become subject to a separate employment or contracting notice. You may request access, correction or deletion of your information where applicable.
